HACO Group is increasingly focusing on solar energy as part of its comprehensive sustainability strategy. By expanding photovoltaic systems at several locations, we harness the power of the sun to create an eco-friendly energy source for our production. Our goal is to reduce CO₂ emissions by 25% by 2026 and by a total of 50% by 2030, implementing ongoing measures to decrease our carbon footprint. By 2050, we aim to achieve carbon neutrality across the group.
Additionally, we are actively working to reduce waste and food waste. By 2027, we plan to cut these in all our companies by 60% and strengthen the circular economy. We are also making strides in packaging: by 2030, we will offer our customers sustainable, recyclable packaging. Furthermore, we aim to reduce our water consumption by 20% across the group by 2027 and continually improve air quality by managing emissions and imissions.
