NARIDA Breaks New Ground: Solar Energy for a Sustainable Future

In spring 2024, NARIDA took a significant step towards sustainability and environmental protection. The construction of a photovoltaic system reduced the ecological footprint and increased energy efficiency.

The project included the renovation of the hall roof, the replacement of the roof domes and the installation of additional fall protection. In a record-breaking five months, we succeeded in installing around 1,340 panels with a total output of 590kWp on an area of 5,400m2.

A total of 8,000 meters of cable were laid and the system generates around 600,000 kWh of electricity per year. This corresponds to around a third of NARIDA's energy requirements.

In combination with the purchase of electricity from hydropower, NARIDA will be using renewable energies in the future, thereby setting a strong example for the future.

We are proud of this.
