Both the thickness of the polyethylene (PE) bags used for packaging 25 kg cartons and the thickness of the polyethylene (PE) lining used for packaging bulk goods (for example roasted beans) were successfully reduced.
Plastic consumption has been reduced by 25% overall as a result of this measure, which corresponds to a saving of 10 tons per year. Of course, without compromising product quality.
